Google Ads API Use Case for STARTMKTG

시행일자: June 2026

This page describes how STARTMKTG uses the Google Ads API. It is provided for transparency, user consent, and Google Ads API compliance review.

About STARTMKTG

STARTMKTG is a marketing operations platform that helps advertisers, marketers, and small businesses manage marketing plans, landing pages, keywords, UTM links, and advertising performance in one place.

How We Use the Google Ads API

STARTMKTG uses the Google Ads API only for Google Ads accounts that a signed-in user connects through Google OAuth. We do not access Google Ads accounts without the user's explicit authorization.

We use the Google Ads API for the following purposes:

  • Advertising performance reporting
  • Campaign analysis
  • Keyword analysis
  • Brand search volume trend analysis
  • UTM-based performance comparison

Data We May Access

Depending on the features a user enables, STARTMKTG may retrieve and display Google Ads data such as:

  • Campaigns
  • Ad groups
  • Keywords
  • Search terms
  • Cost
  • Clicks
  • Impressions
  • Conversions
  • Conversion value
  • Monthly keyword search volume

STARTMKTG does not sell Google Ads data to third parties.

User Consent and Account Access

A user must sign in to STARTMKTG and complete the Google OAuth connection flow before we request access to their Google Ads account.

STARTMKTG does not access a Google Ads account without the user's approval. Access is limited to the account and permissions granted during OAuth authorization.

What We Do Not Do in the Initial Version

In the current initial version, STARTMKTG does not automatically:

  • Create campaigns
  • Change budgets
  • Change bids
  • Modify ads

Our initial Google Ads API integration is focused on read-only reporting and analysis use cases.

Disconnecting Google Ads

Users can disconnect their Google Ads account at any time from the STARTMKTG settings area. After disconnection, STARTMKTG stops making new Google Ads API requests for that account.

Data Security

API credentials, access tokens, and refresh tokens are stored and managed on the server side. They are not exposed in client-side code.
